The Fleet Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing and maintaining the company's fleet of vehicles. This position ensures all vehicles are compliant with company policies and state and federal regulations while working closely with branch leadership to oversee maintenance, repairs, and fleet updates. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills to guarantee the fleet remains safe, efficient, and fully operational. T his is a COORDINATOR ROLE. HOURLY RATE BETWEEN $21 and $25 per hour DOE>
Key Responsibilities
- Track and schedule regular maintenance for all vehicles.
- Ensure vehicles receive legally required inspections and emission testing.
- Coordinate with branch dispatch to schedule maintenance and track service completion.
- Conduct vehicle spot checks to confirm functionality and cleanliness.
- Manage vehicle repairs and vendor relationships to ensure quality and budget compliance.
- Certify proper setup of new vehicles, including paperwork, wraps, GPS, safety equipment, and inventory.
- Distribute and monitor fuel cards, and participate in fuel audits with branch leadership.
- Install and manage Samsara camera systems and facilitate driver coaching.
- Oversee the rollout of new vehicles and the removal of aged or totaled vehicles.
- Facilitate fleet audits and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Coordinate the transportation of vehicles to vendors for repairs and services.
- Local travel required to support branch fleet needs.
