Job Description:
We’re seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Manager to oversee quality control systems at our Part 145 Repair Station. This role will be crucial in ensuring our operations remain safe, compliant, and efficient, while meeting all FAA, EASA, and TACCA regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain an effective quality control system for our Part 145 repair station with the support of the Accountable Manager.
- Ensure repair station procedures are performed in a safe and effective manner.
- Manage and conduct regular audits to identify any non-conformance issues and work with relevant departments to implement corrective actions.
- Responsible for word order system.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that quality control processes are integrated into all aspects of operations.
- Provide regular reports to upper management on the status of quality control processes and performance.
- Review and update quality control manuals and procedures as needed.
- Devises and maintains software for managing work orders, tracking tools and parts, as well as assisting with customer training, tracking, and quality requirements.
- Manage a Part 145 quality and maintenance teams and ensure compliance with all Part 145 requirements.
- Train and manage a team of quality control inspectors and auditors to ensure that all processes are being followed correctly.
- Implement and maintain all FAA regulations and guidelines related to, but not limited to, Part 145, EASA, and TACCA.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- License Required: A&P License.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in FAA Part 145 Repair Station.
- 3 years of management experience in a similar role
- Working knowledge of FAA 14 CFR Parts 21, 39, 43, 65, 91, 121, 135, and 145 is essential.
- Must pass a FAA drug and alcohol pre-employment test.
- Follows FAA regulations & safety protocols.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a safe and professional manner.
- Effectively manage others while ensuring quality work.
- Proficient in MS Office, MRO Software applications, and company policies and procedures.
