Work Location: Remote; this role can work remotely within the continental US provided that Eastern standard time core business hours are maintained. Expected overnight travel is 10%. Ideal candidate will reside between Ohio and the eastern seaboard.


The total compensation package for this role is aligned to candidates that have 2 years' experience in inside sales, working with distribution.

Role Objective

Using primarily virtual selling techniques, this role is responsible for leveraging and growing identified channel partners through a variety of activities including the creation and execution of Business and Trade Development Plans and driving profitable growth through acquisition, retention, and growth of target end-users. The role focuses on selling innovation and increasing implementation of GOJO and PURELL Solution across various markets. Collaborates, builds, maintains, and manages account relationships and activities with field sales, key distributor contacts, and internal stakeholders.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities

General Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present meetings and trainings with channel partners, end-users and internal team members
  • Uses various technologies and resources to engage in a mostly virtual sales environment
  • Uses sound independent judgment to make decisions regarding actions needed to grow and retain business for an aligned customer base
  • Uses data and insights to identify and implements opportunities to improve efficiency and results to impact financial performance
  • Uses Salesforce.com to effectively manage pipeline and maintain account specific information and insights
  • Seeks and shares competitive intel
  • Uses independent judgment to resolve customer issues through effective problem solving, negotiation and issue resolution, empowering use of GOJO policies.
  • Accomplishes team and individual revenue and productivity goals as defined by Sales Leadership
  • Collaborates and participates on cross-functional teams to execute business strategies and close opportunities
  • Attends trade shows as needed
  • Is a direct collaborator with an assigned field sales team as identified by geographical territory


Channel Responsibilities

  • Supports and creates Business Development Plans (BDPs) and Trade Development Plans (TDPs) and facilitates their execution
  • Available as needed to support and respond to customer and distributor needs, prioritizing work as appropriate to support business needs and growth
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders at channel partners to position GOJO innovation and lead line status
  • Leverage reporting to mine white space, identifying end user targets
  • Train and partner with Distributor Sales Rep through virtual mean
  • Partner with GOJO team members and field sellers to support face to face needs as appropriate


End User Responsibilities

  • Works independently and in collaboration with assigned channel partners to develop and provide ‘new conversion’ targets to EU Sellers
  • Develop key relationships to retain and grow end users to customers for life
  • Selling GOJO innovation, executing on white space opportunities with end users
  • Drive overall market share growth through profitable end user selling activities


Education and Experience

  • Associates degree in sales or marketing preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in sales operations, inside sales or sales required
  • Experience working with, or for, B2B distribution expected
  • Business to business and or virtual sales experience required
  • Experience in Janitorial Supply, Healthcare, Foodservice or Education a plus
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com and all Microsoft Applications strongly desired
  • Virtual sales presentation experience required


Supervision/Coordination

Works with members of various business teams; has frequent contact with internal and external stakeholders, GOJO Sales Teams, Channel partners and end-user key decision makers (KDM)

Responsibilities

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Prospect call preparation including company background research and other pertinent lead information
  • Identify customer's buying trends and provide reports to management
  • Enter, update, and maintain CRM information on leads, prospects, and opportunities


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or similar preferred
  • Minimum two (2) years' B2B sales experience required
  • Experience working in, or selling through, distribution partners required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience selling virtually through MS Teams or Zoom required
  • CRM experience strongly preferred
