This role will support design and development activities in the automotive industry - Accessories development for Side by Side/ATVs from concept to production
\n- Lead and support the engineering activities for large scale automotive development programs by investigating feasibility, performing design using CATIA v5, conduct layout review, drawing creation, and negotiation with surrounding component business units.
- Coordinate & Perform layout checks between supplier models and vehicle layouts.
- Track/communicate vehicle change point effecting supplier part designs
- Support service part BOM/illustration creation
- Search new ways to increase overall efficiency, utilize up-to-date technology, and reduce design and parts costs.
- Travel to client sites required.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 1 years of experience in automotive development for plastic injection molding parts/assemblies
- Education with the following specialties preferred: Mechanical, Mechanical Technology, Aerospace, Automotive, Manufacturing
- Experience using CATIA V5/V6
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Exposure to DFM (Design for Manufacturing) preferred
