SUMMARY : Under the management of the Bingo Manager, the Bingo Caller plays a central role in creating an engaging and entertaining experience for guests by hosting Bingo sessions with enthusiasm, professionalism, and clear communication. This role requires strong microphone skills and stage presence to deliver a lively gaming experience, while also ensuring games are conducted in alignment with Casino objectives, goals, and Gaming regulations.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES ASSIGNED :

Serve as a spokesperson for the Casino and Bingo gaming experience, embodying the brand and promoting a positive, engaging atmosphere for guests.
Conduct pre-game preparations to ensure the facility is fully ready to host each day’s games, including confirming the operability of gaming devices and equipment, setting up and powering on necessary devices, and verifying all systems are ready for seamless operation.
Ensure the timely updating and accuracy of posted jackpot and board accrual prize values to maintain visibility and operational readiness.
Perform announcement duties with proper microphone etiquette, maintaining clarity and enthusiasm throughout each session.
Read house rules and session announcements to inform and engage players before the game begins.
Ensure a high degree of attention to detail, starting games on time, managing the pace of play and ball calls, and remaining attentive to game outcomes and player needs to provide a seamless, service-oriented experience.
Verify serial numbers on winning cards and ensure correct payout amounts.
Maintain the highest degree of confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS :

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to execute each essential duty to a satisfactory standard. The qualifications listed below represent the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.

At least three years of Bingo calling experience preferred, with a minimum of five years of experience in gaming.

Must be computer literate with the ability to operate Bingo-specific software and equipment as needed.

Must pass initial drug screening, background investigation, random drug tests, and a credit check.

LANGUAGE SKILLS :

Must be exceptionally comfortable and proficient in delivering information to large groups, with the ability to sell, promote, and engage guests enthusiastically.

Able to communicate in a clear, entertaining, and personable manner, maintaining an upbeat and approachable presence throughout each session.

Skilled in adapting tone and messaging to foster an inviting atmosphere, enhance the guest experience, and maintain attention and excitement.

Capable of handling guest inquiries and resolving minor issues in real-time with professionalism and positivity.

Must possess excellent microphone etiquette and stage presence, as the role is almost entirely focused on verbal communication and guest interaction.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED :

High school diploma or GED required.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS :

Proficient in basic arithmetic, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Capable of applying concepts such as fractions, percentages, and ratios to practical situations related to Bingo operations.

REASONING ABILITY :

Ability to apply commonsense reasoning to diverse situations, effectively handling both abstract and concrete variables.

Skilled in problem-solving, including defining issues, gathering data, and drawing conclusions.

Able to maintain visual attention and concentration in a dynamic and potentially disruptive environment.

Must be detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing job duties, the Team Member must communicate clearly and effectively over a microphone.

Regular activities include standing, walking, sitting, and using hands and fingers to operate or handle objects with precision.

The Team Member is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and may need to lift and / or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of conditions the Team Member may encounter while performing essential job functions.

Noise levels vary, typically moderate in office areas, but may increase to loud on the gaming floor.

The Team Member may be exposed to tobacco smoke while working on the gaming floor.
