Gold Star Painting is a family owned Industrial and Commercial Painting Company located in Modesto California. We have been in business since 1977 and operate in and around the Central Valley. We are looking for a qualified office administer to join our professional team.
Responsibilities
- Active participation in support of management to include reception, incoming calls, general clerical tasks such as copying and scanning
- Document management – create and develop files and maintain filing systems
- Manage office equipment and supplies, and ordering new equipment and supplies as needed
- Provide high levels of customer service to field staff and company leadership team
- Manage credit card receipts, reconcile monthly statements
- Data entry of bills, credit card receipts, and other documents
- A/P & A/R clerical tasks– assist in creating and recording payments in QB for specific vendors and suppliers; may make phone calls or otherwise contact vendor to help solve discrepancies
- Assist or manage weekly payroll, personnel databases, vacation and sick tracker Excel spreadsheets
- Update pricing of materials or sundries in QB as needed
- Assist in recording VOCs and manage SDS sheets
- Assist in managing DMV vehicle registrations
Qualifications
- Proven office experience and strong clerical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office software
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Experience in office management and administrative tasks
- Experience in QuickBooks and QuickBooks Payroll
- Knowledge of vendor management and payroll processes
- Ability to work independently and resolve problems on your own
