REPORTS TO: Executive Director SUPERVISES: N/A
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Day-to-day administrative duties include, but not limited to greeting visitors, directing them to appropriate personnel, answers telephones, and filing work. Composes and prepares routine correspondence. Posts KTGC Job Announcements. Logs all incoming mail, delivers mail inter/outer office. Transmits and receives fax’s. Makes copies of correspondence or other printed matter. Coordinates information needed to hold meetings. Maintains administrative files. Schedules appointments and meetings; performs basic clerical functions (filing, recording information, maintaining confidential information). Assists with purchasing in the absence of the Licensing Agent. Responsible for keeping the office clean. Provides licensing support to the Licensing Agent, Executive Director and Gaming Commissioners. Other duties as assigned.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to show effective Customer Service. Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and attention to detail. Must be proficient with computers and programs related to office work. Must be able to obtain a Category I Gaming License. Verbal communication skills, organizational skills, data entry skills,
good teamwork skills, works well under pressure, maintains confidentiality, courteous, and a positive attitude.
EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree. At least 3 years experience as an Office Assistant or related field. Possesses a valid Driver’s License.
