Job Summary:

The Employee Recruiter and Onboarding Specialist will be responsible for attracting, screening, and onboarding new employees. This role requires strong communication skills, an understanding of recruitment strategies, and a passion for helping candidates transition smoothly into our company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
• Post job openings on various platforms; job boards, social media, company website, as directed.
• Review resumes and applications to shortlist candidates based on qualifications.
• Conduct initial phone screenings and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Maintain a candidate database and track the status of applicants throughout the recruitment process.
• Prepare onboarding materials based on candidates’ needs and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.
• Coordinate training schedules for new employees.
• Serve as a point of contact for new hires during their onboarding period to address questions or concerns.
• Gather feedback from new employees about the onboarding experience for continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of recruitment and onboarding activities.
• Assist with background checks and pre-employment screening processes.
• Contribute to the enhancement of recruitment and onboarding policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the HR team to ensure a seamless integration of new hires into the organization.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be able to pass a Florida Department of Law Enforcement Level 2 Background Screening.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with new hires and team members.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in talent acquisition, onboarding, or HR management.
• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience in recruitment or human resources.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish preferred).

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 24 per week
