Golfballs.com is seeking a Recruiter to join the team in our Lafayette, LA office. The Recruiter will report to the VP of Human Resources and work closely with our HR team. This position is tasked to find the best talent and recruit them to our amazing company. Recruiter Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated recruiter to join our HR team in identifying hiring needs and filling job openings including but not limited to corporate sales, IT developers, and seasonal operations staff members. This person should also be able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals. Our ideal recruiter holds an academic background combined with work experience in recruiting via screening, interviewing, and assessing candidates through various mediums. Ultimately, the responsibilities of the recruiter are to ensure our company attracts, hires and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline through various connections (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc).
A successful recruiter has excellent interpersonal skills, is well organized and detail-oriented, remains up to date with employment legislature, and keeps informed in company hiring processes and programs. This person would be responsible to develop and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. By attending career fairs, and other events where candidates may be outreached directly and pipelines develop, this role gets high connectivity in local communities and businesses.
Recruiter Responsibilities:
- Identifying future hiring needs and developing job descriptions and specifications.
- Collaborating with department managers to compile a consistent list of requirements.
- Attracting suitable candidates through databases, online employment forums, social media, etc.
- Conducting interviews and sorting through applicants to fill open positions.
- Assessing applicants' knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions.
- Be able to learn onboarding and technical processing.
- Promoting the company's reputation and attractiveness as a good employment opportunity.
- Managing internship programs and recruitment sources from local colleges.
- Keeping up to date on current employment legislation and regulations and enforcing them within the company.
- Providing recruitment progress to team managers through consistent reporting and analytics.
Recruiter Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in relevant field.
