Purpose of Position:
The Administrative Assistant/Receptionist will be responsible for greeting and assisting guests and clients both in person and over the telephone. This position will also require someone who has strong attention to detail and is able to handle tasks related to data entry, basic HR administrative duties, creating reports and basic office responsibilities. This is a great opportunity to learn a variety of office functions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Human Resource Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties, including maintaining employee records and providing administrative support to all employees.
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data, like absences, bonus and leaves.
- Facilitate human resources processes, conduct employee onboarding and help organize training and development initiatives.
Administrative/Receptionist Responsibilities
- Greet guests to the building in a friendly, welcoming way and provide any assistance they may need.
Be able to take phone calls and provide assistance when possible or transfer calls as needed.
- Create reports, memos, or other informative documents.
- Maintain front office.
- Be comfortable using Microsoft Office programs (word, excel, office, etc)
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualified candidates possess:
- 0-2 years of work-related skill and experience.
- Highschool diploma required, Associate’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related preferred.
- Physical requirements (to include but not limited to):
- Ability to sit and move around when required.
- Ability to view, crouch, lean, bend, grip, etc. in an office environment
- Ability to lift light loads (under 25 lbs.)
- Ability to wear PPE (when necessary)
Travel Requirements:
- May be required to travel to local client facilities, suppliers, and customer sites to assist in customer meetings, plant visits, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
