At the Good Place Institute (GPI), we are dedicated to applying Biblically derived principles and values to transform organizational cultures and help businesses, individuals, and communities thrive. In this role, you will help ensure smooth office workflows, maintain accurate records, and provide administrative support to ensure GPI’s success in fulfilling its mission.
- Organize and maintain office operations, procedures, and systems.
- Manage internal communications, correspondence, scheduling, and documentation.
- Administer technology and systems including project management, CRM platforms, and community platforms.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, manage calendars, and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Oversee and coordinate projects, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
- Implement and monitor administrative processes to improve efficiency.
- Handle accounts receivable and payable functions, including invoicing, collections, and vendor payments.
- Assist with budgeting, financial forecasting, and reporting.
- Support business planning, monthly financial reports, and manage KOR Dashboard.
- Assist with communication, documentation, and service for internal and external stakeholders.
- Address client and vendor inquiries, escalating issues when necessary, and ensuring timely resolutions.
- Represent Good Place Institute’s culture and mission in all interactions, internal and external.
- Degree or equivalent experience in business administration, accounting, or a related field preferred.
- 2-3 years’ experience in office administration or a similar role.
- Proficiency or willingness to learn software solutions such as:
- Sage Intact
- Asana
- ActiveCampaign
- Learning Management / Community Network platforms
- Understanding of office administration and business operations principles.
- Basic accounting and financial management knowledge (AR/AP).
- Strong project coordination and management skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) and accounting platforms.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and discretion.
- Eagerness to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
