Job Summary
We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at GSS SD Corsica Pleasant View. As a CNA, you will serve as a caregiver to our residents during the scheduled work period, providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). You will be responsible for delivering age-appropriate care related to the physical and psychological needs of our residents, as per their individualized care plans. Your role will involve assisting with basic health care needs, including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing psychosocial support and other personal care to our residents. You will also assist with meal preparation and dining, creating a positive experience for our residents. Additionally, you will aid providers and nursing staff members with procedures as needed, document resident interactions and outcomes, communicate changes in resident condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse, collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs, and provide housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping their living areas clean and operational. You may also participate in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed.
