Job Description
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents. You will collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care. You will demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilize appropriate age and population-specific standards as designated in your assigned clinical setting.
You will be responsible for coordinating care, resident assessment, resident education, and various other nursing interventions. As a charge nurse, you may delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel that are within their job descriptions, skills, resident care needs, and competence level.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have a graduate degree from a nationally accredited nursing program, a bachelor's degree in nursing preferred, and an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing or multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
