The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a compassionate and adaptable Certified Nursing Assistant to provide care with competitive pay, flexibility, and no contract requirement. This opportunity allows a CNA to travel locally by working in various GSS locations within a 150-mile radius from home address providing assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing psychosocial support.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with meals and snacks, provide water and supplements as appropriate.
- Provide housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational.
- Participate in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed.

Qualifications
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
- Minimum age of 16.
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
We offer a competitive salary range of $17.00 - $25.50 per hour, depending on location and experience.
