Job Description
Essential Job Duties :
- Prepares correspondence, memos, reports and forms. Maintains files for Office.
- Provides general office duties, including phone, fax, and e-mail communication; regular distribution of mail.
- Maintain current and accurate information in credentialing software program and provider's files.
- Work with the Asst. Coordinator and Coordinator to assume lead role in the credentialing process of reappointments. Initiate appropriate documentation and reference checks for completion in a timely manner.
- Maintain required expirations of certifications within the software.
- Prepare and distribute agendas, calendar scheduling, compose and distribute minutes of Medical Staff Committees as assigned.
- Stock and order supplies in the physician lounge.
- Other duties or special projects as assigned.
