Janitorial Technician II Part-Time
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual for a part-time, contract janitorial position. This role requires approximately 2-4 hours of work per week, performing general cleaning duties. Tuesday and Fridays from 4pm until 6pm.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Able to perform all commercial cleaning tasks and/or works at an independent contract.
JOB FUNCTIONS
Performs all job functions of a Janitorial Technician I.
Commercial cleaning tasks:
Steam-clean or shampoo carpets
Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors
Upholstery cleaning
Outdoor window cleaning
Independent contracts:
Adhere to contractual requirements
Maintain all safety and security requirements at each site
Follow cleaning schedule
Inventory control at the job site
Maintain documentation directly related to custodial services provided
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Medium work, exerting up to 75 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds lifting, bending, stooping, reaching, handling, feeling, carrying, pushing, talking, hearing, and seeing.
WORK CONDITIONS
Inside generally 90%, however, may include outside work on occasion. Exposure may include noise or vibration, fumes, weather, and hazards.
Moderate emotional effort. Work environment sometimes hectic with occasional high stress. Short deadlines requiring some overtime. Some holidays and weekends required.
May be required to drive personal vehicle with independent contracts.
EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent required.
EXPERIENCE
Experience in commercial cleaning required if performing commercial cleaning tasks. Experience in general janitorial cleaning required if working at an independent contract.

Perform a deep cleaning process as mapped out in a project specification sheet.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED
Position directly reports to the Janitorial Manager. Receives general direction from job site staff with independent contracts. Receives supervision from the Janitorial Supervisor if working on a crew.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED
None. May provide direction to a co-worker (employee only) in the execution of custodial contracts at independent sites or with floor care contracts.
