Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to fill positions in food production, warehouse operations, logistics, and customer service.
- Identify top candidates through online platforms, career fairs, social media, and industry partnerships.
- Review resumes, conduct initial candidate screenings, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Collaborate with department leads to assess hiring needs and workforce planning strategies.
- Build strong relationships with trade schools, staffing agencies, and industry professionals to maintain a steady talent pipeline.
- Oversee pre-employment processes such as background checks, drug screenings, and security clearances required for airline catering personnel.
- Lead bilingual orientation sessions to educate new hires on safety procedures, hygiene standards, and operational protocols.
- Ensure employees receive required uniforms, ID badges, and security access upon hiring.
- Act as a primary resource for new employees, providing support during their transition period.
- Ensure all hiring practices align with aviation security regulations, labor laws, and food safety standards.
- Assist in employer branding initiatives to attract skilled professionals to the airline catering sector.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) required for effective communication across teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in recruitment, onboarding, or HR—preferably in airline catering, hospitality, food service, or logistics.
- Familiarity with aviation security standards, food safety protocols, and labor laws.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
