An exciting and growing restaurant group is seeking a seasoned, dynamic General Manager with a proven track record in hospitality leadership to drive our restaurant and bar operations. This General Manager role requires someone with extensive experience managing VIP clientele, private events, and live entertainment, as well as a solid background in bar and nightclub operations. The ideal General Manager candidate has successfully navigated challenging HR issues in previous roles and is eager to implement effective solutions while expanding our client base.

General Manager Qualifications

• Proven leadership in upscale hospitality with extensive experience managing VIP clientele, private events, and live entertainment (including DJ operations) in bar/nightclub environments.
• Demonstrated track record in high-volume operations (e.g., $2.5 million annual sales) with strong financial acumen and a commitment to exceptional guest service.
• Tenured, hands-on leader with a history of effectively resolving HR challenges and creating a stable, productive work environment.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in upscale-casual or fine-dining settings, with a detail-oriented approach and dedication to team development.
  
  

General Manager Responsibilities

• Lead by example with a hands-on approach, ensuring operational excellence across all departments
• Oversee daily functions including P&L management, inventory control, ordering, cash handling, and financial reporting
• Cultivate and nurture relationships with vendors while building a robust portfolio of high-value clients
• Drive employee training, development, and cultural initiatives that promote teamwork and exceptional service
• Create and maintain lasting customer relationships by delivering high-quality food, beverage, and event experiences
