Overview
The Goose River Bank is seeking an experienced Digital Banking Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our banking functions.
Job Summary
This position requires a strong knowledge of bank operations, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in banking or accounting, as well as basic math proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for daily activities associated with exception processing, ensuring proper workflow and documentation to meet deadlines and serve as customer point of contact.
- Responsible for ongoing operations of the bank's accounting, bookkeeping, and electronic banking functions.
- Maintain and implement bank policies, procedures, and controls, assist in insuring an effective and efficient operation and minimize risk of fraud or loss.
- Reconcile monthly investment records and run entry tickets as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer conversations and information and proprietary bank information.
- Take ownership of customers until issue is resolved by responding to inquiries and requests.
- Responsible for the Bank's ACH originators, including training, annual review, and on-sight visits, as well as building new ACH payroll relationships.
- Develop and maintain all business banking relationships within our digital platform.
- Bank's main point of contact with the Core's ongoing case management.

- Must possess a High School diploma or equivalent along with basic math proficiency.
- Previous banking or accounting experience preferred.
