Highlights of what our Account Executive will do:
- Assist management with determining market strategies & goals for each product and service offered
- Research new customers and better understand existing, in effort to increase market share and probability
- Evaluate product & service in terms of our customers technical & manufacturing needs
- Follow up on leads hot and cold, and properly track and focus on all opportunities
- Maintains up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect target markets
- Establish and maintain industry contacts that attribute to sales process
- Create and maintain relationships with key decision makers
- Work with operations staff to turn over job(s) for proper installation, and assist thereafter, if needed
- Provide weekly updates to management about opportunities, challenges, contracts, and areas of focus internal or external
Are you the right fit for this role? Skills & experience that an ideal Account Executive would possess are:
- 3-5 years of relationship-based sales experience (construction or related industries) is preferred
- Strategic and analytical skills as well as the ability to think outside the box
- Excellent people and relationship building skills, creative problem-solving capability, and excellent oral and written communication skills
- Flexible work hours with the ability to attend events beyond normal business hours
