Overview
We’re a leading law firm specializing in healthcare reimbursement, and we’re looking for a proactive Technical Systems Analyst to join our team onsite in Fairlawn, NJ. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a mix of hands-on tech work, business analysis, and systems integration—all while working in a HIPAA-regulated environment.
Duties
- Lead or support full project lifecycles—from planning and scoping to go-live and ongoing support
- Gather business and technical requirements across teams
- Design and build solutions using Power Platform, Salesforce, SharePoint, and Azure
- Ensure systems comply with HIPAA and support secure handling of PHI
- Provide Tier 1 desktop support, escalating to our managed IT provider as needed
- Set up workstations and configure hardware for new users
- Create clear documentation and train staff on new tools and workflows
- Support UAT, change management, and post-launch success
Required Skills:
The successful candidate will possess the following skills:
- 3 years in a Systems Analyst or similar technical role
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Proficiency with:
- SQL for data querying and analysis
- C# for backend or integration development
- JavaScript for workflow scripting or light front-end tasks
- Strong experience with:
- Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI)
- Salesforce
- SharePoint
- Azure
Excellent communication skills; comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels
Familiarity with HIPAA and best practices for PHI protection
Self-starter mindset; thrives in a startup-style environment
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) – both attended and unattended bots
- Experience automating repetitive business tasks
- Familiarity with AI capabilities on Microsoft platforms (e.g., AI Builder, Copilot, Azure AI Services)
- Experience in a law firm or other regulated industry
- Certifications in Microsoft, Salesforce, or Azure technologies
