We are a seeking a passionate and skilled individual to take on an exciting opportunity as a Buyer in our Supply Chain team, who will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating the delivery of raw materials, to meet inventory control objectives, production and customer requirements. Develop expediting strategy, contact suppliers, negotiate delivery date changes and follow-up on late shipments. Contact suppliers and issue purchase orders for raw materials, covering both existing and anticipated needs. Establish minimum inventory level for raw materials. Maintain accuracy of delivery dates in the system for proper workload planning by other departments. Contact suppliers to obtain required documentation (Certificates of Analysis, SDS, invoices, etc.). Maintain inventory accuracy by updating purchase orders, coordinating receipts and adjustments.
