The Role
GovExec is seeking a Manager of Sales Operations & Analysis to join our team. In this role, you will support the sales team and assist executive management. You will assist the sales team overseeing and managing the processes related to the flow of sales data, managing traffic (both digital and print), and utilizing that information to optimize sales strategies to drive business growth and improve the efficiency of the sales process.
Responsibilities
- Manage the technical and logistical aspects of print and digital advertising campaigns.
- Ensure that ads are properly delivered, displayed, tracked, and optimized across various platforms.
- Upload and test ad creatives and code, including banners, videos, and interactive ads, into ad servers.
- Troubleshoot technical issues that arise during the campaign, such as broken links, underperformance, or misplacement of ads.
- Generate reports to track the performance of campaigns (impressions, clicks, conversions, etc.).
- Analyze data to identify trends, optimize targeting, and recommend adjustments to improve campaign effectiveness.
- Maintain and update sales databases and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Generate regular sales reports and performance analysis to help the sales team understand trends and opportunities.
- Monitor sales pipelines and track metrics to help optimize the sales process.
- Help manage the sales order process, ensuring smooth transitions from lead to customer.
- Collaborate with other departments like marketing, finance, and product teams to ensure alignment.
- Assist in the onboarding of new sales team members by preparing materials and training documents.
- Assist with addressing customer inquiries or issues regarding sales orders, invoices, or services.
- Ensure timely follow-ups and maintain customer satisfaction through support.
- Help create accurate sales forecasts and maintain sales pipelines.
- Work with sales leadership to ensure targets are met and assist in identifying trends that may impact sales strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Basic data analysis skills, with the ability to create reports and dashboards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Analytical thinking to interpret sales data and trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with internal teams and customers.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a team.
- Prior experience in sales support or administrative roles is a plus.

The compensation range for this role is $70,000 to $82,000 per year.
