OUR MISSION: The California Office of the Small Business Advocate (CalOSBA) supports economic growth and innovation and ensures that ALL California small businesses and innovative startups have the information and direct support they need to better navigate resources, programs, and regulations. CalOSBA serves as the voice of small businesses, representing their views and interests across the state and advocating for equitable access to capital, markets, and networks so that all California small businesses successfully start, manage, scale, and become more resilient.
The Business Analyst is responsible for product management and technical development of software systems, platforms, and other software projects that support CalOSBA programs. This individual is responsible for analyzing user and business process needs, vetting software solutions, creating and documenting workflows and user stories, and full-stack development of compatible software solutions.
This position works under direction from the IT Manager I and receives guidance from the Information Technology Specialist II assigned to CalOSBA as well as the CalOSBA Director and Deputy Director.

Working Conditions
Hybrid: This position is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule and requires reporting in-person to Sacramento headquarters, 2 times a week. #li-hybrid
