This role demands at least 10 years of experience in accounting and expertise in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The ideal candidate will oversee all financial transactions, from point-of-sale to closing books and preparing monthly financial statements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage external and internal audits, ensuring adherence to current regulatory and compliance guidelines.
- Distribute audited financial statements with comments to the board, bank, and vendors.
- Maintain internal controls to ensure the safety and security of company assets.
- Oversee federal, state, and local tax filings and compliance.
Accounting - Financial and Cost
- Lead and develop the accounting team.
- Oversee preparation, quality, timeliness, and distribution of internal financial statements.
- Ensure accurate and timely general ledger management and review reconciling activities.
- Oversee production and quality of other internal and sales reporting.
- Manage all financial forecasting and budgeting activities.
- Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Asset accounting activities.
Cash Management - Finance
- Oversee all company banking relationships and activities.
- Optimize capital, debt, cash, liquidity, and investment positions.
