This role involves applying specialized polymer-ceramic coatings to a variety of materials, including wood, polymers, metals, and plastics, with a focus on precision components.
Responsibilities for Skilled Painter/Production Asst: Prepare surfaces and apply specialized polymer-ceramic coatings to various materials. Mix and apply coatings per manufacturer specifications and company standards. Operate, clean, and maintain painting equipment such as spray guns, ovens, and other tools. Inspect finished products to ensure quality and durability standards are met. Assist in general production tasks, including mechanical assembly, prep work, and quality control. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Work collaboratively with the team to meet production deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.
Qualifications for Skilled Painter/Production Asst: 2 years of experience in painting, coatings, or finishing (automotive, industrial, firearms, or similar preferred). Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to assist in basic production tasks and equipment maintenance. Experience with spray application techniques and proper surface preparation. Familiarity with polymer-ceramic coatings and their benefits is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
