Responsibilities
- Source pet food ingredient and other raw materials for products, including researching, evaluating, and negotiating with vendors.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors.
- Manage the development and implementation of processes to ensure compliance to pet product sourcing standards.
- Develop and manage the budget for pet product sourcing.
- Ensure that pet product sourcing activities meet all relevant regulatory and safety compliance standards.
- Monitor pet product market trends and pricing to identify potential opportunities and risks.
- Prepare and provide detailed reports on pet product purchasing activities to senior management.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of pet ingredient and material products.
- Coordinate with external suppliers to ensure quality assurance of pet materials/products.
