We are looking for an accountant with 1-3 years of accounting or audit experience, dedication to teamwork, and a background in not-for-profit and government industry clients to join our team!

As an staff auditor, you will be a working on governmental and not-for-profit audits and engaging directly with clients. We are a nontraditional, employee-friendly firm that offers a flexible, challenging environment. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Working as part of an audit team to complete audits of various sizes and complexities on schedule
- Performing audits of not-for-profit and governmental entities including Single Audits
- Audit financial statement areas including: cash and investments, prepaids, accounts receivable, inventory, accounts payable, capital assets, and debt
- Perform walkthroughs of significant audit areas
- Review internal controls to ensure they are adequate and functioning properly
- Perform testing of internal controls of compliance testing as required by the Uniform Guidance and Texas Grant Management Standards
- Preparing financial statements in accordance with appropriate reporting standards
Successful candidates must have:
- Minimum of one to three years’ experience in practice
- Basic knowledge of accounting and auditing
- Strong organizational, communication, client service and leadership skills
- Integrity within a professional environment
- Dedication to teamwork and leadership
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem solving abilities
