Grace HealthPro’s is seeking an experienced and dynamic RN Director of Women’s Services to lead our Women’s Health department. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated nursing leader to oversee and enhance patient-centered care for women’s health services, including labor & delivery, postpartum, neonatal care, and gynecological services.
Job Summary
The RN Director of Women’s Services is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational oversight, and clinical excellence of the Women’s Health department. This role involves directing nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, managing budgets, implementing policies, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and operational management for Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Neonatal Care, and Women’s Health Services
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance with JCAHO, CMS, state, and federal regulations
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care
- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff to foster a culture of excellence and collaboration
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Manage department budgets, staffing, and resource allocation effectively
- Oversee patient safety initiatives, infection control, and quality improvement programs
- Lead community outreach and education efforts related to maternal and women’s health
- Stay up to date with advancements in women’s healthcare and nursing best practices
Qualifications & Requirements
- Active RN license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) or Healthcare Administration preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Women’s Services nursing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and S.T.A.B.L.E. certifications required (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of OB/GYN, maternal-fetal medicine, high-risk pregnancies, and neonatal care
- Experience with budget management, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance
