The successful performance of the Intake Specialist position requires meeting high standards in the following area: Intake, good communication skills and Hospice knowledge, chart maintenance, scheduling and other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, some post-secondary education preferred
- Hospice intake experience preferred
- Ability to type 65 words per minute
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, power point and EMR’s
- Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English
- Demonstrates a desire to work with those at end of life, hospice knowledge.
- Ability to demonstrative positive and respectful communication/interaction skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Ability to respect confidentiality
- Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks
- Demonstrates compassion, authenticity and respect
