Graceland Portable Buildings is a leading provider of hand-crafted portable buildings. Known nationwide for quality, workmanship, style, and affordability, Graceland offers solutions for every storage need – with beauty, quality, and style. Graceland Portable Buildings is growing rapidly and is looking for a sales managerr for our newest location in Benton, KY.
We are looking for a talented Owner-Dealer to assign and direct all work performed at the dealership and to supervise all areas of operation. You will manage all building sales, foster a positive environment, and ensure customer satisfaction and proper dealership operation. Graceland provides the inventory free of charge and the partnership works on a commission basis. The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach and will be committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable sales targets achievement.
Requirements:
- Proven business management experience, as a dealership, business manager, store manager, department manager, military unit leader, or similar role
- Ability to meet sales targets and production goals
- Familiarity with industry’s rules and regulations
- Excellent organizational skills
- Results-driven and customer-focused
- Leadership and human resources management skills
- Degree or degree candidate in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or similar fields preferred, but not required
Responsibilities:
- Direct all operational aspects which can include distribution, customer service, human resources, administration and sales in accordance with Graceland’s objectives, mission, and values
- Develop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans
- Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities
- Meet goals and metrics
- Manage budget and allocate funds appropriately
- Bring out the best of dealership’s personnel by providing training, coaching, development and motivation
- Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities
- Share knowledge with other dealerships and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs
- Address customer satisfaction issues promptly
- Adhere to high ethical standards, and comply with all regulations/applicable laws
- Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company
- Stay abreast of competing markets and provide reports on market movement and penetration
- Maintain an adequate sales organization that is qualified to sell the products within the territory in accordance with the terms and conditions hereof:
- Dealer’s salespersons shall be required to show display buildings to customers and explain the options that are available for each particular model.
- Salespersons are responsible for determining lead time for the manufacture and delivery of new portable buildings and informing the customer.
- Salespersons must be trained and able to complete all documentation necessary for the sale or rent to own programs, including but not limited to sales sheets, order sheets and rent to own contracts. All documentation is to be emailed to the Company’s headquarters as soon as this transaction has been made and a representative of the Dealer shall be available by phone to answer any questions the Company may have regarding any such transaction.
- Maintain all display portable buildings and inventory in the same condition as when delivered by Company to Dealer, ordinary wear and tear excepted. The portable buildings and all areas surrounding the portable buildings and Dealer's business are to be kept clean and all lawn, landscape and common areas are to be kept in a neat and orderly manner. Dealer may not use any portable building for storage.
