Job Overview:
Graham Technologies is seeking an IT Project Specialist to support our client in managing IT programs, projects, and initiatives. The IT Project Specialist will play a key role in facilitating successful project execution within ITSO IMT by coordinating activities, tracking progress, and ensuring strategic alignment with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies to drive cross-functional collaboration and project success.
Responsibilities:

Project Coordination & Execution:
- Coordinate project/initiative activities, track timelines, and ensure alignment with ITSO goals.
- Define project/initiative requirements, develop plans, and establish key milestones.
- Identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues.

Collaboration & Communication:
- Facilitate communication between project/initiative teams, stakeholders, and AOUSC offices.
- Engage with IT teams, government executives, and external partners to ensure project success.
- Provide recommendations and input on executive summaries, briefings, and other content.

Documentation & Reporting:
- Create and maintain detailed project/initiative documentation, including status reports, project plans, and meeting minutes.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and project requirements.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:
- 5 years of experience managing IT projects/initiatives of varying size and complexity.
- 5 years of combined experience working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- 5 years of experience collaborating with stakeholders at various levels, including executives, IT teams, and external partners.
- 5 years of experience working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic IT environment.
- 5 years of experience creating and maintaining project documentation (project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, etc.).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and Forms.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or equivalent.
- Must be a US citizen and be able to pass a background check.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting IT projects within government agencies.
- Familiarity with federal IT policies and compliance requirements.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, or MS Project).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
