You Will
- Design and implement messaging strategies for financial, strategic and reputational programs and challenges, including:
- C-Suite messaging and materials development for quarterly earnings calls and other IR-related communications
- Presentation materials and messaging for various IR matters
- Investor perception studies to provide further insight into external messaging
- Serve as key point of contact for investors and analysts to articulate company strategy, explain financial results and address questions
- Partner with business and finance leaders to ensure holistic and accurate external messaging of current and go-forward financial performance
- Develop an investor targeting plan that aligns with Grainger's objectives to maintain and grow our current shareholder base, while also attracting new investors. Utilize C-suite time effectively
- Build and maintain an investment model to understand how guidance and other company commentary might be synthesized by external audiences.
- Drive continuous improvement by automating, refining, and implementing processes and deliverables
- Interface and story-tell to senior management
- Stay up to date on competitive landscape, industry developments and macro-economic trends
You Have
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in Finance, Accounting or Economics Required
- Master's Degree (MBA) Preferred
- 8 years professional experience
- Knowledge of investor relations would be a plus
- Strong financial acumen
- Executive level presence
- Strong story-telling capabilities with ability to synthesize complex information to the most salient and digestible takeaways
- Immense personal initiative is required to anticipate requests before they are received
- Experience working within a public company highly preferred.
- Ability to manage a high volume of detailed work with conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment

Salary : $145,700 - $242,800
