Location: (Currently Remote-New York Tri-State Area) Must reside in the U.S.
Salary: $70,000/yr.- $75,000/yr. Commensurate with experience

Grameen America is building on our proven record of scale and impact to embark on a five-year campaign to realize our bold ten-year goals, providing opportunities for economic mobility for more than 750,000 women and their families. Through the Women Are Limitless campaign, Grameen America will raise $600 million, through a combination of $300 million in philanthropy and $300 million in debt capital, to meet the urgent need for affordable capital and demand for Grameen America’s program across existing and new geographies. The remaining funding needed will be generated internally through interest income and invested back into the program and communities. Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage grant proposal, application and reporting process, including proposal writing, budget creation and modification, impact and financial reporting
- Support the management of key corporate prospects, construction of a pipeline of desirable prospects and development of company-specific approach plans, which could include philanthropic/foundation grants, cause marketing, workplace giving, and employee engagement, that reflect corporate partners’ marketing and business needs, as well as philanthropic and community engagement goals
- Assist in pitching and securing new partners, including providing support in research, securing meetings, preparing correspondence, developing pitch materials, and prospect stewardship
- Support the successful stewardship and engagement of corporate relationships, including: the planning and execution of specials events; assisting in site visits; managing frequency of outreach, communication and personal contact
- Under direction of the Director, work closely with Development, Marketing & Communications, Programs and Operations, and other Grameen America departments to leverage all company assets in an effort to initiate innovative ideas and maximize opportunities to ensure partnership benefits and support are in alignment across the organization
- Document and maintain clear and timely records to track corporate benefits packages, donor giving, grant proposal and reporting deadlines, contacts, notes, and assist in the maintenance of an accurate database and corporate benefits matrix
- Collaborate with Marketing and Communications team to support the creation and implementation of multi-channel communications strategy to amplify the impact of corporate partnerships, and assist with marketing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data to report to corporate partners
- Support financial aspects of grants management, including impact data, budget proposals, and budget modifications, including reconciliations and financial reporting
- Maintain accurate Salesforce database records to ensure gifts and activities are properly recorded and maintain an accurate grants calendar, tracking grant deliverables and timelines
- Contribute to the overall strategy of the fundraising department and work with the team to execute on and achieve our goals
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree with 2-3 years of experience in development, grant writing or strategic partnerships
- Strong writing skills and ability to synthesize complex themes and relay information in a concise and persuasive manner
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills including ability to manage stakeholder relationships
- Demonstrated ability to lead and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent judgment, critical thinking and research skills
- Ability to learn quickly on the job
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to take the lead on projects and work independently as well as collaboratively on a team
- Fundraising database experience required; Salesforce strongly preferred
- Energetic, positive and enthusiastic team player with a commitment to the values of the organization
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office especially on Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Spanish language skills a plus
