Accounting- Senior Accountant
Job Type : Full time
Position Overview : We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, supporting month-end close processes, and providing key financial insights to drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and familiarity with FP&A functions, with a proactive approach to process improvements and collaboration across departments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
- Perform general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals to ensure financial accuracy.
- Work alongside Controller and the department to lead month-end and year-end closing, including account reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and external regulatory requirements.
- Support various review & audit engagements, providing financial data and responding to external inquiries.
- Analyze financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities during the month-end reporting process.
- Work with CFO and other business leaders to develop, prepare, and maintain budgeting and forecasting models that support decision-making.
- Conduct variance analysis between actual and projected financials, providing insights to management.
- Assist in developing & documenting standard operating procedures and identifying process efficiencies.
- Monitor and report on key financial metrics, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Involvement in other projects, as assigned.
