Our client is an organization in the Racine County area looking for a Senior Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 3 years of experience, organized, and detail oriented. This company offers flexibility, a great work/life balance, and a hard-working team. This position is hybrid.
The salary for this position is $95k.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process bi-weekly payroll and compile data such as garnishments, insurance and 401(k) deductions.
- Develop and analyze budgets, preparing reports that compare budgeted to actual costs.
- Analyze financial information and prepare reports to determine or maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, etc.
- Prepares weekly/monthly cash management reports.
- Completes tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements.
- Perform other duties as needed.
The Senior Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
- 3 years of relevant experience required.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive & confidential information.
- Knowledge of various taxes; Payroll, Sales and Use, Corporate Income Tax, etc.
