SUMMARY
The business assistant coordinates all aspects of the front desk, with an emphasis on providing quality and compassionate care in an innovative environment that guarantees patient satisfaction and trust

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
- Create a welcoming environment that builds relationships, puts patients at ease, and provides a world class patient experience at every visit
- Create, present and close patient treatment plans
- Answer phones and schedule/reschedule/confirm patient appointments to ensure the clinic's efficiency
- Process payments, deposits and run end of day reports
- Participate in morning team huddle and all other team meetings
- Verify insurance coverage when applicable
- Follow standard operating procedures that align with Grand Dental Group's values
- Perform all assigned duties in a professional, accountable and collaborative manner-TEAMWORK
- HIPAA Compliance
- Participate in continuing education
QUALIFICATIONS

- Demonstrates effective verbal skills to communicate with patients, staff and management
- Computer literacy with proficiency using Denticon, Dentrix or similar dental software
- Previous experience working in a busy multi-specialty dental practice
- Has a genuine interest in working with and helping patients
- Supports organization’s objectives and customer service policies
- Prioritizes and balances the needs of patients and the needs of the organization
- Is patient, calm and able to handle complaints and difficult situations effectively
- Minimum H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
