Duties:
- Performing oil & gas well operations, operating, well testing and maintaining field equipment and facilities.
- Manage surveillance of general field operations
- Responsible for various production database software including monitoring, reading, and reporting of all.
- Well types include flowing, beam pump, electronic pump-off controller, plunger lift, water injection and salt water disposal
- Facilities include production tank batteries, flowlines, LACT units, water injection plants, natural gas compression, cathodic protection and metering devices
- Daily monitoring of multiple well sites by vehicle
- Test, calibrate and troubleshoot equipment and mechanical issues
- Perform mandatory paperwork required by company and regulatory agencies
Competencies:
- Strong initiative and self-starter
- Demonstrated computer knowledge; proficiency with MS Windows environment
- Demonstrates quality accuracy and thoroughness in all assigned job duties. Strong mechanical aptitude
- Attendance/punctuality – is consistently at work and on time
- Follows all safety guidelines. Aware of surroundings and working hazards. Wears all appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Must adhere to all OSHA regulations and guidelines
- Pre-employment drug screen and on-going random drug screening will apply
- Effectively communicate with customers, co-workers and other personnel
- Walking, bending, stooping is required; must be able to climb ladders and stairs
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Two (2) or more years Oil & Gas Production Tech and/or Roustabout Pusher experience with new Facilities/Pipeline and Tank Battery Maintenance
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in all weather climates/conditions
- Ability to pass a background, drug screening, hair follicle, MVR, etc
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
