Job Summary
Granite Automotive in Rapid City, South Dakota is looking for a skilled and experienced Parts Counterperson to join our team. The Parts Counterperson will play an important role in ensuring the parts are ordered accurately, delivered to our customers in a timely manner, and stocked in the store. The Parts Counterperson must be able to multitask, manage their time responsibly, and have strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities
• Greet customers as soon as they enter our store and offer assistance
• Process orders for customer orders including taking orders over the phone, entering them into the system, and organizing all paperwork
• Ensure the accuracy of orders placed by customers
• Assist customers in choosing the correct parts for their repair needs
• Work closely with other departments such as purchasing, shipping, and receiving
• Maintain parts inventory to ensure timely supply of orders
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Provide exceptional customer service to all customers
Requirements
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in parts processing
• Knowledge of automotive parts and systems
• Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Computer Literate
