Company Description :
Client is an architect-led construction company that offers design and building services to commercial and industrial buildings. We are looking for an experienced Controller with construction industry experience to join our growth-oriented company.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain financial controls and procedures for all construction projects
- Prepare and analyze financial reports for each project, including budget vs actual analysis and cash flow projections
- Oversees accounts payable, accounts receivable, job cost reports, payroll, 941s, 1099s, W2s, yearly whip schedules for insurance estimates
- Creates quarterly P&L statements
- Prepares annual budgets and year end tax data for accounting partners
- Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and IFRS
- Coordinate with project managers to review project budgets and ensure cost control measures are in place
- Monitor project expenses and report any variances to senior management
- Work closely with the project team to identify and manage project risks
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including banks and other financial institutions
- Delegates and supervises accounting team overseeing subsidiary accounts, credit card statements, time card review & entry, petty cash & POs
Requirements :
Salary : $130,000 - $170,000
