The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge in corporate, international, federal and state and local tax, as well as a solid background in corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, C Corps, partnerships and individual/trusts.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Requirements:
* 7 years' of progressive tax preparation
* Must have advanced knowledge in corporate, international, federal and state and local tax, as well as have a solid background in corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, C Corps, partnerships and individual/trusts
* Strong tax accounting skills with proficiency in US GAAP, tax compliance, corporate consolidated returns, consolidated federal tax returns, partnership returns, and combined state tax returns
* Ability to manage staff on multiple engagements, and possess strong leadership skills
* Possesses a strong understanding of client's industry, business, needs and expectations and discusses with clients areas for improvement in business operations
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent is required
* Proficient with a computer software packages and platforms including Microsoft Office Suite, Tax software, ProSystems and CCH
