Sr. GenAI Business Analyst

Position- Sr. GenAI Business Analyst

Location- Chicago, IL (Hybrid) 2 days onsite

Need experience on large programs – recent experience (GenAI focused initiative) (Large enterprise/corporate setting)

• Can look at Jr level PMs for a functional product person who is looking to get into this space
• Someone who can do user stories

Responsibilities-

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business and functional requirements for Generative AI use cases, translating them into clear, actionable user stories.
• Develop and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlogs within Agile tools (Azure DevOps/JIRA).
• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review sessions to ensure timely delivery and alignment of GenAI project objectives.
• Identify process gaps and propose enhancements to optimize workflows, ensuring the best use of generative AI technologies.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clarity of project scope and deliverables.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role supporting technical projects in an Agile environment.
• Proven track record of participating in 1–2 Generative AI solution implementations (RAG, LLMs, or similar).
• Experience creating user stories and defining acceptance criteria for Agile product backlogs.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps and/or JIRA for backlog and project tracking.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance technical and business needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
