Position Overview/Description:
The Technical Sales Support Manager will oversee the implementation, management, and optimization of key business intelligence tools, including WASTELINQ, Zendesk, and the Pricing Management Tool (PMT). This role will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of these tools, streamline processes, and provide ongoing training and support to internal teams. The Technical Sales Support Manager will also be responsible for aligning these tools with company goals, industry standards, and regulatory requirements to enhance decision-making, compliance, and overall service delivery.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to the sales teams and model GrayMar values.
- Ensure each employee is prepared and educated in safe work practices.
- Develop, coach, train, and promote employees. Provide ongoing feedback and motivation, including performance goals.
- Tool Management and Optimization: Oversee and manage Zendesk, WASTELINQ, and PMT systems, ensuring smooth functionality and seamless integration with other business systems. Continuously optimize these tools to improve efficiency, reporting, and data accuracy.

Training, Onboarding & Support: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for team members on WASTELINQ, Zendesk, and PMT to ensure effective adoption and ongoing support. Create user manuals, training materials, and documentation to assist with the onboarding process.
- This will include involvement in the New Employee Onboarding process.
- Compliance & Accuracy: Work with Environmental Health and Safety Leadership to ensure WASTELINQ, Zendesk, and PMT meet industry compliance standards and regulatory requirements. Maintain accuracy in all reports and analytics generated by these tools and work closely with relevant departments to monitor and enforce these standards.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Generate and analyze reports using WASTELINQ, providing actionable change management insights to internal teams and management. Use data to drive improvements in operations, customer service, and business performance.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate cross-functionally to identify areas for improvement in business processes and workflows, leveraging WASTELINQ, Zendesk, and PMT to streamline operations, reduce inefficiencies, and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT, operations, sales, and other departments to ensure WASTELINQ, Zendesk, and PMT are aligned with business needs and goals. Actively participate in team meetings, providing data-driven insights to help guide strategic decisions.

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Data Management Expertise: Strong understanding of data management, reporting, and analytics.

- Compliance Knowledge: Knowledge of compliance standards and regulatory requirements within the industry.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving software and technical issues efficiently.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Relevant experience in environmental, waste management, or similar industries is preferred.
- Familiarity with BI tools or software such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools, such as Power BI.
