THIS IS A BASE SALARY PLUS COMMISSION POSITION
Base salary range 85k to 200k depending on experience
Commission; 40% on new business, 25% on renewals, for the life of the account.
NOTE: There is a 3 year program to validate the base salary.
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Insurance Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and dedicated to their success and responsible for providing exceptional service to clients while selling various employee benefit insurance products. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to negotiate effectively, and a passion for business clients understand their employee benefits insurance needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a client base through effective networking, outside sales strategies, cold calling and professional .
- Communicate clearly with clients ( HR Managers, CFOs, Business Owners) to assess their employee benefits insurance needs and recommend appropriate products.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance sales strategies and improve overall performance.
- Negotiate terms of insurance policies with clients to ensure mutual satisfaction.
- Market various insurance products through networking, referrals, and community engagement.
- Provide ongoing benefits administration support to clients, ensuring they understand their coverage options.
- Attending weekly office training sessions to stay updated on industry trends and changes in insurance regulations to provide accurate information to clients is required.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions in compliance with company policies.
Experience
- Previous experience in insurance sales is required.
- Proven track record in employee benefit or commercial insurance sales or professional collaboration sales is advantageous.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients from various backgrounds are essential.
