Welding/Fabrication Sales Representative

Great Lakes Skilled Trades is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic team in the Battle Creek/Marshall area. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, strong technical knowledge of welding and fabrication processes, and a proven track record in B2B sales. This role requires building and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the welding and fabrication sector.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
• Provide technical support and product knowledge to clients, addressing their specific needs and concerns.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers.
• Prepare and deliver sales proposals and contracts.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

• 1 years of sales experience, preferably in the welding and fabrication industry.
• Technical understanding of welding processes and fabrication techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
