Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for hardware and software issues across various platforms including Windows, Mac OS, and Linux.
- Manage computer systems and ensure optimal performance through regular maintenance and updates.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including TCP/IP configurations.
- Assist in the administration of Windows Server environments and Group Policy Objects (GPO).
- Utilize Jira for tracking and managing IT service requests and incidents.
- Offer exceptional customer service by responding to user inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Document processes, procedures, and solutions to enhance the knowledge base for future reference.
- Collaborate with team members to implement new technologies and improve existing systems.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Windows, Mac OS, and Linux operating systems.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking principles.
- Experience with computer management tools and practices.
- Familiarity with Windows Server administration and GPO management is preferred.
- Knowledge of Jira or similar project management tools is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
