A Customer Support Specialist aids customers by providing helpful information, answering questions, and responding to concerns and complaints. The Customer Service Specialist is the front line of support for vendors, installers and customers and will help ensure that customers are satisfied with our products, services, ordering process and features. It is the responsibility of this position to review and enter customer orders, providing high quality of service.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards the customers at all times
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding replacement parts, discrepancies, warranties, orders or returns
- Answer telephones and direct caller to the appropriate associate.
- Communicate with customers through emails and telephone
- Detailed knowledge of Great Western’s products to help answer customer questions
- Create quotes and file discrepancies
- Receive, analyze, and enter orders into CRM
- Create and send POs to vendors and installers
- Monitor and update shipment timelines
- Notify customers of shipping information
- Keep records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints
- Communicate and coordinate with colleagues as necessary
- Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support
- Complete all other tasks assigned by supervisor.
Required Skills
A Customer Service Specialist must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Preferred experience in quoting and order entry. Manage time and meet deadlines. Problem solve and have attention to detail.
Education and Training
The Customer Service Specialist should possess a High School Diploma, or equivalent, or 2 years of office assistance experience, or a combination of both education and experience.
