We are looking for BSW, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Human Services or Business graduates experience helping people find and maintain employment. Please Note: We do consider candidates with HR experience, but this is NOT a HR role. This position works with persons in treatment for mental health and substance use disorders.
Responsibilities for Employment Specialist Supervisor:
- Collects and maintains outcome measures: job placement statistics, job retention statistics and any other relevant program data.
- Recruits, hires, orients, evaluates, supervises, and terminates staff with input from the Director and HR.
- Oversees coordination of employment services from all referral sources.
- Coordinate referrals, authorizations, service provision and billing activities from Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD) as needed.
- Assures the timely preparation of written reports, employment plans, and all necessary progress notes and other documentation as per GCB policy and as required by funder.
- Provides coverage of services when needed.
Assures GCB’s presentation to the business community is coordinated and professional
Supervises all employment services for the team.
Requirements for Employment Specialist Supervisor:
- Master’s degree in human services or related field or bachelor’s degree in human services or related field and two years related experience.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate professionally with clients, peers, and community partners
- Willingness to be flexible with daily tasks and responsive to client and program needs.
- Social service experience preferred.
