Administrative Assistant - Mason Elementary School
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of word processing systems including Word, Excel, Outlook and ability to learn the Google environment
- Interpersonal skills necessary to positively promote the school to families, community groups and the general public
- Ability to adapt and respond to multiple priorities and demands with varying deadlines
Performance Responsibilities
- Serves as office contact with school personnel, business representatives, and the general public
- Receives telephone calls in the general office and makes proper disposition of such calls
- Performs tasks requiring considerable independent judgment and discretion, maintains respect at all times for confidential information
- Maintains an accurate filing system
- Maintains and updates student records and databases including changes in student enrollment. Prepares reports, letters and other documents as needed
- Performs administrative tasks for the guidance department, including scheduling appointments, providing tours and ensuring confidentiality of student information
- Assist in supporting school personnel in the functions and operations of the school
- Other duties as assigned
