What are the responsibilities and job description for the SY 2024 - 2025 Diving Coach position at Greater Lawrence Technical School?
The diving coach will be responsible for coaching student-athletes in the sport of diving, focusing on skill development, physical conditioning, and providing instruction, ensuring athletes are prepared for league meets. This position provides valuable instruction which will allow divers to progress to more difficult dives safely.
To provide ongoing communication and feedback to athletes and coaches regarding performance and achieving individual goals. He/she will ensure the safety of all swim and dive team participants in and out of the pool. He/she will prepare entries for participants in team meets. This position provides valuable instruction that will allow divers to progress to more difficult dives safely.
Will provide instruction of competitive diving skills for all levels of ability for up to 2 hours a week throughout the winter swim season.
